ZDF Enterprises takes over global distribution of "Aircrash Confidential 3"

Mainz, October 2nd, 2018

ZDF Enterprises is taking over the global distribution of the successful series "Aircrash Confidential" as of the current season (Season 3). "Aircrash Confidential" is produced by Alan Griffiths' World Media Rights, in which ZDF Enterprises has been a stakeholder since 2017. Discovery UK and Australia's Nine Network are also on board as co-production partners.

The first two seasons of the highly successful TV series have already been sold to customers in dozens of territories all over the world.

The series has attracted great interest worldwide because the new episodes (6 x 50 minutes) try once again to find answers to unanswered questions about the causes of various plane crashes.

"Aircrash Confidential 3" clearly shows that plane crashes are often caused by the same failures: intentional or unintentional pilot errors mid-flight, air show accidents, mistakes during maintenance, the Nevada Triangle, disasters caused by air traffic control, and causes which no one would believe if it weren't for the work of teams of experts.

The individual episodes of this documentary series include interviews with investigators and researchers in various fields, who draw conclusions from the available evidence and can thus explain the inconceivable to the bereaved.

How is it possible for human errors to occur again and again, even though technology should actually prevent them? "Aircrash Confidential 3" comes to the conclusion that the expansion of global aviation will lead to an increasing number of errors, and thus a greater risk of disaster. It may be a case of mistaking one switch for another or installing an incorrect part, or the answer to the question of why holes start forming in the bottom of a Boeing 737 after 30,000 flights.

There is reliable information about parts of the Nevada Triangle, but there are also accidents which cannot be adequately explained by alleged errors or malfunctions. Definitely not a show for people who are afraid of flying, but an exciting documentary series for people who would like to find out more about the stories behind plane crash headlines.
