ZDF Enterprises signs audiovisual deal with Cirque du Soleil Images to distribute its renowned productions

Celebrated phenomenon “O” from Bellagio in Las Vegas marks first airing in December 2017

Montréal, Canada / Mainz, Germany, 8th November 2017

ZDF Enterprises has signed a distribution mandate with Cirque du Soleil Images to begin exclusively distributing its illustrious catalog of productions in the German-speaking world on TV, PAY TV and video-on-demand. The Cirque du Soleil catalog includes live show recordings of many of its most acclaimed productions along with unique documentaries, taking viewers behind the curtain to witness the creation process of these remarkable shows.  

Through this new partnership, the Mainz-based company will distribute the world’s first-ever live show recording of “O” across Europe. The program will celebrate its European premiere on Arte on 27th December 2017. Viewers will have a new opportunity to experience the universe of the aquatic masterpiece that has been among the most iconic and successful shows in Las Vegas since its inception in 1998.
