ZDF Enterprises seals first major drama deals at MIPTV 2018
‘Maltese’ and ‘Bron/Broen’ among programs sold

ZDF Enterprises kicks off this spring’s MIPTV market, that is being held in Cannes from 9th to 12th April 2018, with a number of impressive deals in the drama department.
The smash hit Italian mafia series ‘Maltese’ found fans in both France and Finland: French broadcaster France Télévisions will run the eight-part series produced by Palomar, RAI and maze pictures on France 3, while Finnish broadcaster YLE acquired it for its channel.
Hungarian TV2 Media Group secured an important package of over 1,000 hours of drama series and TV movies for its channels TV2, SuperTV2, Prime, Mozi+ and FEM3, including popular series such as ‘Dream Voyage’, ‘Our Charly’ or TV movies from the Rosamunde Pilcher collection.
Czech private television FTV Prima signed a deal covering 275 hours of series and TV movie collections, including household names such as the crime series ‘Siska’ or love and romance collections such as ‘Inga Lindstroem’ or ‘A Summer in…’.
To round up ZDF Enterprises’ first deals at MIPTV, Canal+ France acquired the heart-stopping final season of Scandinavian crime series ‘Bron/Broen’ (The Bridge), with Sofia Helin in the role of the iconic Saga Norén.
