ZDF Enterprises launches new premium short-film service 'contunico' at MIPCOM
Mainz, 5 September 2011.
At this year’s annual television-industry trade fair MIPCOM in Cannes (3 to 6 October), ZDF Enterprises will be introducing a new premium short-film service, contunico. The service is aimed at media-industry professionals who want a quick and economical way of producing, improving or expanding their products with audiovisual means. contunico provides solidly researched short films ranging from several seconds to about 4 minutes at a moment’s notice and without any complicated legal procedures: all rights are internationally cleared for unlimited use in all media for the duration of the license.
contunico draws its clips, film shorts and concise video material from ZDF’s vast archives, which boast a collection of high-caliber short, self-contained films on topics ranging from history and current events, to culture, science, health, travel, entertainment and much more. In addition to providing ready-made clips, the contunico team also puts together new contents according to the customers’ needs.
The contunico clips are conceived and created by experts from a wide variety of fields, who regularly contribute reports and documentaries to ZDF. The archival material is the result of high-quality, in-depth journalistic and scientific research, and offers solid facts, reliable information, and revealing insights that don’t have to be double-checked.
