ZDF Enterprises boasts four of Top 30 most screened programs at MIPDOC 2011

ZDF Enterprises, one of Europe’s leading TV producers and distributors for the international market, has once again confirmed its expertise in the field of documentaries by claiming four of the Top 30 most requested programs at this year’s MIPDOC. The prestigious documentary trade fair was held in conjunction with MIP TV in Cannes on 2/3 April 2011. ZDF Enterprises was the only firm with four titles in the Top 30 list, only three other firms can boast of being represented with more than one program on this honors list, namely with two titles.
Among the Top 5 are ZDF Enterprises’ “9/11: Science and Conspiracy,” about the widespread belief that the events of 9/11 were masterminded by the U.S. government, and “A Traveler’s Guide to the Planets,” which explores what it would be like to visit and live on our fellow planets. Also among the Top 30 most often screened programs at MIPDOC are ZDF Enterprises’ “Adventure Ocean Quest,” which follows freediver Frederic Buyle as he accompanies deep-sea creatures without disturbing them, and “Animal River Challenge,” about expeditions into the wilds of Guyana in search of rare creatures.
