ZDF Enterprises and Lineup Industries partner for global formats distribution
First three ZDF Enterprises titles to join Lineup sales slate
Amsterdam / Mainz, 7th September 2017
Independent international distribution company Lineup Industries and ZDF Enterprises have signed a significant new distribution agreement. It sees the Amsterdam-based company become the go-to for ZDF Enterprises’ international formats sales, with 4 For Family, Quiz Champion and The Game Begins joining the Lineup slate as initial three titles.
Alexander Coridass, President and CEO of ZDF Enterprises: “Lineup Industries has established itself as a distribution partner of note with extensive formats know-how and deep market knowledge. We are convinced that our shows are in capable hands and that this team will drive forth their international market presence.”
Ed Louwerse, co-founder of Lineup Industries said: “We are extremely happy to partner with the commercial arm of ZDF, one of Europe’s largest public broadcasting groups. ZDF has a reputation for creating and producing family entertainment with wide appeal and these new shows are wholly complementary to our existing distribution slate. We can’t wait to get working on these titles and believe they have significant potential globally.”
New family show The Game Begins targets viewers aged from three to 99 and pits a team of celebrities against a competitive team of children in an assortment of tasks including skill and reaction, action, strategy and sports games, memory tests and more.
Quiz Champion sees challengers pitching themselves against five celebrity experts in a quiz battle that tests their knowledge to the max. Five different categories await them, chosen from sports, literature, music, and politics to nature, science, geography, food and history. Only the candidate who does better than the experts in the major fields of general knowledge stands a chance of winning a quarter of a million Euros and the ultimate title ‘Quiz Champion’!
Every day, families master challenges together by supporting and helping one another. But how tight-knit are they really? In 4 for Family — The Big Family Competition, three families compete to prove that they are the closest. To be in with a chance of winning the €100,000 prize they not only have to win the task rounds but also the approval rating of the public who rate the teamwork, trust and endearment in their play.
