'H2O - Just add water ' is huge success for ZDF Enterprises at New York Licensing Show
Mainz, 9th July 2007
The international merchandising rights for the teen series 'H2O - Just add water' represented a triumph for the ZDF Enterprises portfolio at the biggest merchandising fair worldwide, **'New York Licensing 2007 International'** which was held from 19.06.07 - 21.06.07.
Within Europe itself these rights have already been sold to Italy and the Benelux countries, while firm negotiations are under way respecting various other territories. According to Director Merchandising Sylvia Brucker, ZDF Enterprises is working together with the Australian agency Wild Pumpkin on worldwide marketing of the Australian live action series. 'H2O - Just add water', with 52 x 26 minute episodes, promises to be particularly successful in the sector Apparel & Accessories, Publishing and DVDs. For example, Target, the Australian chain of department stores, is bringing out an extensive range of clothing based on the programs as early as September 2007. The first pan-European rights purchasers are already interested in this concept, which can naturally be transferred to other territories with ease.
