CuriosityStream pre-buys ZDF Enterprises’ PLANET OF TREASURES (6x52’)
4K documentary series presents the world’s most incredible sites with cutting-edge laser-scans and 3D animations

CuriosityStream, the award-winning global documentary streaming and on-demand service, has pre-bought the six one-hour documentary series “Planet of Treasures – A History of Mankind” from ZDF Enterprises.
Human beings have changed the Earth itself, made their mark on the planet over many thousands of years, and left behind monuments to their cultural heritage. In “Planet of Treasures – A History of Mankind”, the distinguished Cambridge historian Sir Christopher Clark (“The Story of Europe”) takes us on the ultimate world tour of man-made masterpieces, cultural achievements, and miracles of nature such as the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and a selection from almost 1000 world cultural heritage sites. It’s a whistle-stop tour across space and through time to astonishing testaments of human ingenuity and nature’s gems.
“Planet of Treasures – A History of Mankind” is a glossy 4K Production filmed on all inhabited continents, with stunning 3D-animation and cutting-edge laser-scans that show cross-sections of ancient monuments. The series is produced by Interscience GmbH, written by Gero von Boehm and executive produced by Bernhard von Dadelsen and Ricarda Schlosshan.
