The Ice Age

For about two million years, the polar regions of the earth have been periodically covered by massive ice-caps. As the ice advances and retreats, the animals must move with it, or die. Among them were our Neanderthal ancestors. This film by Andreas Kieling follows the movements of the ice-sheet during a single year, using it as the pattern for longer-term changes. Are we on the edge of a new Ice Age, as some scientists suggest ?
