Lea Behrwaldt, a successful lawyer from Hamburg, is shocked to learn - from her mother Alba, no less - that she has a grandchild. This news is surprising, least of all because she hasn’t heard from her son, Lennart, in years. Lennart runs a thriving restaurant in Potsdam, where he’s in a relationship with Melanie, his girlfriend, and her own young son, Tim. Things heat up when Tim’s father instigates a fight for custody, and Lennart develops a soft spot for his Lithuanian employee, Nida.
