Ella Lüders has been missing since the Midsummer Festival, but some people on the island claim she simply ran away to Stockholm. Did the young woman flee from island life, or was she in fact murdered? What really happened on that midsummer night? This is the first case of its kind for Karine Jaspers, and she is overwhelmed with it. The investigation begins to take shape when Reuter and Helene assist her, and Ella’s father Eike falls under suspicion.
