The Bundschuh family is on holiday, and on a very special one at that. The entire clan has travelled to Majorca, and immediately things start going wrong. It was never meant to be relaxing!
Gundula Bundschuh is dreaming of a peaceful holiday in the Majorcan sun that might finally resolve the increasingly serious problems between her and her husband Gerald.
But she hasn't accounted for their oddball relatives, invited by her mother-in-law, Susanne, who are joining them along with plenty of neuroses, secrets and all the usual madness.
Gundula's brother Hans-Dieter still dabbles in writing esoteric self-help books and dominates his pregnant wife Rose, while Gundula's parents, Ilse and Edgar, enjoy a renewed love affair thanks to Edgar's dementia.
What started as an innocent family holiday quickly turns in to an emotional rollercoaster for all involved, with life-changing consequences for some family members.
