Jens Jensen and Süher Özlügül are village police officers whose cases reflect the dark underbelly of a coastal society. Their turf is rural North Germany, where the sea breeze blends with the stench of manure. While Jens is a sweet scatterbrain, Süher is ambitious. She feels bored and underemployed in the sleepy little town.
Things become unsettled when a young woman is murdered during the town’s annual festival. A whaler harpoon and blue feather suggest one of the festival’s participant’s is responsible and the eccentric team investigates.
