Who would have guessed? History can be fun! This new sketch comedy portrays the major and minor events of world history from a new perspective — satirical, humorous and often delightfully absurd. A cavalcade of lavish costumes and sets is deployed to illustrate how history became what it never was … The journey ranges from prehistorical times to the Renaissance, from the wild 70s to the fall of the Wall. The final minutes in the bunker in 1945 are evoked just as the backgrounds of the Kennedy assassination or the circumstances that led to the mutiny on the Bounty.
Discerning CGI are shaped into visually powerful sketches that tell of past eras, events and locations, and are linked together with crafty animations. What, for example, with President Kennedy’s mind on more frivolous things than the atomic bomb, it’s a wonder we survived the 60s at all!
